1. Will the Fire Department come out if I lock my keys in the car?

The Sherman Fire Department will only unlock a vehicle if there is a person or animal locked inside or if the engine is running in an enclosed space such as a garage. Any locksmith can be called to open your vehicle.

2. Can I have a birthday party and tour at the Fire Department?

The Sherman Fire Department does not host parties at any of the stations. Our crews must remain in-service and ready to respond to emergency calls. You may schedule a tour of the station before, during or after your party by calling 903-892-7273 to set up an appointment.

3. Does the Fire Department install child safety seats?

The Sherman Fire Department does offer child safety seat inspections and installations. Please call 903-892-7273 for more information and to set up a child safety seat inspection.
